- Academic Portfolio Data: Images, PDFs, or documents (e.g., marksheets, certificates) that you explicitly upload to the secure cloud storage feature.
- Usage Data: App usage patterns, preferences, and crash logs to improve app stability.
- Device Information: Device model, Operating System version, IP address, and Advertising ID (for analytics and ad delivery).
- User Content (AI Inputs): Text input you provide to the AI Assistant.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Cloud Sync & Backup: To automatically back up your schedule, tasks, and settings so you can restore them if you reinstall the app or switch devices.
- Academic Portfolio: To securely store and retrieve your uploaded academic documents (up to 1 GB) as part of the Premium service.
- AI Features: To generate summaries, revision notes, and answers via our AI Revision Assistant.
- Improvement: To fix bugs, enhance features, and analyze user engagement.
- Monetization: To display banner advertisements (for free users) and manage premium subscriptions.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Cloud Storage: Your tasks, timetable, and uploaded academic documents are stored securely on Google Cloud (Firebase).
- Security: We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data during transmission and storage.
- Portfolio Access: Documents uploaded to the Academic Portfolio are private and accessible only by you through your authenticated account.
- No Selling: We do not sell your personal data or uploaded documents to third parties.
4. AI Features Disclaimer
Our app utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) technologies (e.g., Google Gemini API) to provide study assistance.
- Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally be incorrect or misleading. Users should verify important facts independently.
- Data Processing: Text inputs sent to the AI are processed securely by third-party providers solely to generate a response. Do not share sensitive personal information (like passwords or financial data) in AI chats.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
- Premium Plans: We offer paid subscriptions (e.g., Yearly Plan) that unlock features like Cloud Storage and Ad-free usage.
- Payment Processing: All financial transactions are handled directly by Google Play. We do not store or process your credit card or banking details.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play Store settings.
6. Advertising (AdMob)
- For non-premium users, we use Google AdMob to serve advertisements.
- AdMob may collect data (such as your Advertising ID) to show personalized ads based on your interests.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Android device settings under Settings > Google > Ads.
7. Your Rights & Data Deletion
- Account Deletion: You may request to delete your account and all associated cloud data (including your Academic Portfolio files) at any time by contacting us.
- Permissions: You can manage app permissions (e.g., Storage, Notifications) within your device settings.
