Delete Your Smart Study Account & Data
Smart Study allows users to request deletion of their account and associated data.
How to request account deletion
If you have created a Smart Study account, you can request permanent deletion of your account and associated data by emailing:
Please send the request from the email address associated with your Smart Study account and include:
- Subject: Smart Study Account Deletion Request
- Your registered email address
What will be deleted
After verifying your request, we will delete the data associated with your Smart Study account, including, where applicable:
- Account information
- Name and email address
- Tasks and schedules stored in cloud sync
- Timetables and study plans stored in cloud sync
- Uploaded Academic Portfolio documents
- Other personal data associated with your account
Data that may be retained
Certain information may be retained where required by law or where necessary for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention, security, accounting, or resolving disputes. Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary for that purpose.
Important
Uninstalling the Smart Study app does not by itself constitute an account deletion request.
To permanently delete your Smart Study account and associated cloud data, please submit the deletion request using the email address above or use the account deletion option provided inside the app.
Processing your request
We will process valid account deletion requests within a reasonable period after verifying the account ownership.
